Fighting With Your Uncle
Not a good idea if your only 7 and your uncle is 38, but uncle Reuben is as soft as they come and very easy to beat.
After the ‘fight’, John-Luke explained he had won because he had used Reuben’s own force against him. As I’m sure your aware, this tried and tested method of defeating your enemy is used by martial artists the world over.
JL is doing OK at his new school despite his class mates being a bit mean to him. He is gets on well with the kids in the class above (primary 4) and spends his playtimes with them.
I think we all have a few more weeks of ‘bedding in’ stress to deal with.
