Home Alone In Reverse
Oh dear, John-Luke has gone to sleep over at his friend’s house tonight and has left his parents home alone.
Ruth is worried sick about him, “Do you think he’ll be all right? …. What if he wakes up in the middle of the night?….” and so on.
I on the other hand am only partially concerned about him. It must be one of those man / woman things. You know, women are empathetic and men are just, well .. pathetic.
Anyhow it’s good that JL is making friends and getting himself out and about.
Whether I will have the same attitude when he is 16 and getting ‘out and about’ is another matter.
