A couple of months ago John Luke took part in a CBeebies program called The Green Balloon club.
He really enjoyed the filming process and says he could do it as a career, given the chance. The only bad thing was “Having to do things over and over again”.
The Green Balloon Club team went around Arran filming lots of kids and places of interest. John Luke and a friend from school got to visit a bird of prey centre and handle a buzzard.
When Ruth went to pick John Luke up from filming she took Abby along. The film crew invited Abby to join in the closing scene where the kids wave to an imaginary balloon in the sky. She ended up getting about half a second of screen time in the final edit. We were all excited to see her on the telly.
There are five Arran episodes in all. The fourth episode with John Luke in will be broadcast on the 21st of August at 7:30am.
