Lakin Farm

Today we started to take out the wall between the living room and the back room.

We have tried to keep as much of the cornice as possible, as well as keeping the picture rail - which is now suspended on a few pieces of wire and will be fixed to the new wall when we build it.

When I get rid of the old wall and get down to the footings, we will see what caused the wall to subside so badly.

This won’t be last bit of destruction in the farm house, as I have to knock through between the kitchen and dining room, and from the dining room into the new sun room we are going to build.
