Threety Forty
Abigail keeps asking Ruth, John Luke and I how old we are.
She thinks forty six (my age) is very old, and tells us that she is “Threety forty years old”. Not just three.
Not only is she creative with numbers, but spelling as well.
We are trying to explain spelling phonetically e.g. buh-ih-ruh-duh for bird. But whichever word we are spelling she corrects us by saying “No your saying it all wrong, it’s got a Tuh in it”.
It doesn’t matter what the word is, it always has a ‘Tuh’ in it. John Luke thinks it’s very funny.
