PC Problems
For the last few weeks we have been living with a very poorly computer. Regular crashes and intermittent bouts of not wanting to switch on, led to a complete rebuild.
The job took about two days to complete (mostly taken up by installing software and retrieving files from the old hard disk) but we are now back on line.
I don’t normally believe in conspiracy theories, but it was strange that our normally well behaved PC began to play up just as Microsoft released the new Vista operating system in the UK.
Do Windows XP machines have a built in suicide switch controlled by Microsoft HQ?
It would be an good way to get XP users to switch to Vista, but a little underhand.
