Dusty Work

Picture of a windowSome of the jobs being done in the house create a lot of dust. Sometimes a little and other times a lot, as can be seen by this picture of light coming through the landing windows.

This dust cloud was a result of a wall being cut through with a stone cutter. The new opening is for a new door between the hall and utility room.

I am putting in some polyurethane insulation at the moment and the dust this creates is something else.

Picture of a wooden frameWhen you saw through the insulation it releases tiny specks of floating specks of polyurethane specks. These are very light and can (and do) float directly onto the surface of your eye.

They are also a bugger to sweep up.

The insulation is being put into the wooden stud work wot I have been building in the upstairs rooms.
