Lakin Farm

Abigail is becoming increasingly boisterous. She shouts, hits, kicks, and bites everything that she can get her hands on.

Yesterday we all agreed that when she starts to crawl (or walk) the doo doo will really hit the fan. We are scared, very scared.

The other day Ruth took Abigail for walk (to get her to sleep). It was a very windy day, with strong gusts of chilly air from the North.

Most babies hold their breath in strong wind. I remember the wind taking away my breath when I was five!

Abigail, however, got very excited by the wind and turned her head towards it, opened her mouth and stuck her tongue out (presumably to see what the wind tasted like).

It is this type of behavior that has us all worried for our personal safety.
