It was a false alarm. No baby yet I’m afraid. We have been to Irvine Hospital on the mainland all day, but thankfully the staff saw no need for Ruth to stay.

At 12:45 today Ruth’s waters broke. After a sandwich, shower, and packing of bags, we set off to the hospital.
