Today the weather was fine and sunny, so Ruth decided we should go for a walk on the beach at Blackwaterfoot.
I took my camera along and took a lot of snaps of the family and the beautiful scenery.

For some reason, possibly due to the arrival of autumn, one of our chickens is laying little eggs.
We now have a chicken that lays over sized eggs and another that lays mini eggs.
This picture shows the two differently sized eggs with a normal (shop bought) egg in the middle.
There are a couple of photo editing programs that I use, but the one I like best is Gimp.
It is not the easiest software to get to grips with but as its free you can’t grumble. I use Gimp to touch up my photos and remove things I don’t want (lampposts etc).

I have been helping out with the conversion of the barn behind our house. The barn will (eventually) be where Ruth’s mum and dad live. My job is to plasterboard and tape, but in order for me to fix my boards up I have also been putting in a lot of woodwork.
