Panic Over

It was a false alarm. No baby yet I’m afraid. We have been to Irvine Hospital on the mainland all day, but thankfully the staff saw no need for Ruth to stay.

All Systems Go (nearly)

At 12:45 today Ruth’s waters broke. After a sandwich, shower, and packing of bags, we set off to the hospital.
We sat around and chatted for a while, but no further action took place. No contractions have started yet (4:35), but the tightenings are getting tighter.

Lego in Space

John-Luke spends a great deal of his time building models with Lego. This morning, Ruth suggested I take a picture of his latest creation. So I did.
Then I did some messing about on the computer and hey presto, Lego model launched into deep space!
